Founded in 1823 by Joaquim Augusto da Costa, which was continued by his successor Frederico Gaspar da Costa and later by the company Frederico Costa Lda.
Frederico Costa Lda is a company specialized in the manufacture of decorations that, from the beginning, stood out for being an exclusive supplier to several Ministries, the Portuguese Geographical Society, Liga Naval, among others.
Currently, we continue to be the main supplier of several Ministries, of the Presidency of the Portuguese Republic, City Councils, Parish Councils, Associations, Religious and Military Orders.
We work mainly with silver, gold, copper and tombac.
We manufacture all kinds medals, from the most exclusive and prestigious to the most symbolic and economical, depending on the customer’s preference.
We are recognized throughout the world for the extreme quality of our pieces, mostly hand-crafted, and the materials used, which is why we are sought after by various collectors from all corners of the world.
